Edgar Brandt

Edgar Brandt founded Edgar Brandt Advisory SA in 2005. After having been the Managing Partner in charge of Arthur Andersen Switzerland Consulting where he began his career in 1986, he took the position of Managing Director at Bearingpoint Switzerland from 2002 to 2005.

After years spent on advising CEO and owner of companies in all sector of activities, Edgar Brandt realize the importance and the needs of specific advisory services for investors in Private Equity and for companies.

As the Big Four are too rigid to deliver personalized and flexible solutions, he founded Edgar Brandt Advisory SA. His ambition is to deliver services to investors and companies as an independent in order to improve the monitoring of investment as well as the implementation of value creation mechanisms within companies.

Edgar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from HEC at the Lausanne University and a Master’s Degree in Computing and Organization. He also passed with success the Swiss Federal Diploma and is a Certified Public Accountant since 1992. He is of French mother tongue and is fluent in English and Italian. Edgar is an active member of several professional organizations and is board Member of public and private companies.

Christian Mustad

Before joining Edgar Brandt Advisory after its inception, Christian Mustad was a Senior Manager within Arthur Andersen Consulting, and then within Bearing Point Switzerland. A career-long commitment to hands-on, results oriented projects has brought him recognized expertise in meeting the challenges that companies facing transitions have to meet.
 

Christian has worked with decision makers and their teams on issues covering business strategy, organizational structure, cost optimization and change management. Since the inception of the company and the development of its distinctive offering Christian has worked with shareholders in many privately held companies to create the highest level of transparency and support to decision making at the various critical stages: pre-acquisition due diligence, business reviews, valuations and sale. He has also been instrumental in developing the company's ground breaking approach to investment monitoring.

Over the years, he has gathered an international experience in a very wide array of industries covering several subsegments of financial services, consumer goods, industrial products and other services.Christian has planned and delivered numerous engagements covering strategy definition, organizational design, business process improvement and change enablement.

He holds a Master’s degree in International Economics and Management from SDA Bocconi, Milan (Italy) as well as a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland).
